The fresh new look of Ron’s Electronics.

Ron’s Electronics was a B2B retailer whose focus changed during the pandemic when their B2C segment grew exponentially. They hired Huge to work on their rebrand as they shifted from a ‘prosumer’ audience to expand into everyday consumer electronics. The big ask was to “make it fun”. So, of course, the Huge team took that, ran away with it and came up with a brand that was bright, colourful and oh so Gud. (sorry I couldn’t resist)

What’s Gud?

No, really. What is Gud?

Once the team settled on a fun, new name for the brand, we began defining the brand identity — how Gud does Gud, good (too much?). Together with a strategist and a group of designers, we compiled these definitions into a handy brand book. I was also tasked to define the brands tone of voice, crafting copy samples and putting together the dos and don’ts.

How does Gud communicate its personality, values and purpose effectively?

Once I defined the brand voice, I used it as a guide to craft social media posts, advertisements and supers for the brand sizzler.
