An immersive retail experience like no other.

Say hello to SK-II’s exciting self-assisted shopping experience.

The ask was to develop an innovative approach to entice shoppers to stop, try, learn and shop SK-II's extensive line of skincare products. Our solution involved creating two interactive, self-guided experiences — the Discovery Table and the Tester Bar — to delight and educate shoppers.

I worked on developing punchy copy to keep the users engaged from the first moment of interaction.

Discovery Table.

We encouraged users to stay engaged and keep exploring through a simple (but oddly satisfying — i tried it) interaction. From how-to’s to product benefits, we surfaced product information based on the user’s actions. We also hid easter eggs like insider tips within the experience, waiting to be “popped”.
